Professor Khondaker A. Mamun, PhD, Director of the Institute of Research, Innovation, Incubation, and Commercialization (IRIIC)at United International University, attended the 2nd “Zero Death” from Preeclampsia Scientific Conference, held on May 11, 2025, at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh. The conference was organized by the Gestosis Bangladesh Chapter, under the aegis of the World Organization Gestosis, and brought together leading health experts, clinicians, and policymakers to address one of the most pressing challenges in maternal health.
Professor Mamun joined distinguished participants from across the healthcare ecosystem to explore pathways toward eliminating maternal deaths caused by preeclampsia. His presence at this important national platform highlights IRIIC’s ongoing commitment to advancing digital innovation in maternal and child health.
During the conference, Professor Mamun also delivered atitled “The Global AI Shift: SWICH.AI – Solution for Women & Infant Comprehensive Health Using AI.”The talk introduced SWICH.AI, an AI-powered platform designed to improve early detection, preventive care, and comprehensive health monitoring for women and infants—especially in underserved communities. His insights reflected not only cutting-edge research but also a deep dedication to real-world impact.
