Prof. Khondaker Abdullah Al Mamun, Director of IRIIC at United International University and a nationally recognized innovation leader, was invited as a guest speaker at Inventionous 4.1, the signature innovation event organized by the MIST Innovation Club at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST).

Themed “Renovate Towards Revolution”, the event brought together aspiring innovators, researchers, industry professionals, and academic leaders from institutions across the country to showcase and celebrate emerging technologies and problem-solving ideas.

Prof. Mamun addressed a packed auditorium of young innovators, sharing insights on how strategic innovation, digital transformation, and AI are shaping the future of Bangladesh’s tech and entrepreneurship landscape. His presence added immense value to the event, and he was honored with a Token of Appreciation from the MIST authorities in recognition of his contribution to fostering a national innovation ecosystem.

The occasion was made even more memorable by the remarkable performance of two student teams from UIU, who emerged as winners at Inventionous 4.1. Their success was a proud moment for the university, reflecting the ongoing impact of IRIIC’s startup incubation and student mentorship programs.

Prof. Mamun extended his gratitude to Maj Gen Md Nasim Parvez, BSP, ndc, afwc, psc (Commandant, MIST), Taufiqur Rahman (Head of iLab, a2i), and the entire MIST Innovation Club for hosting such a meaningful event. In his words, “Proud to see our university shine on such a platform.”
