The most anticipated startup and business idea competition of the year—LaunchPad by UIHP @ UIU—is back with its second cycle, and it’s bigger, bolder, and more opportunity-packed than ever before. Scheduled to kick off on April 23, 2025, this national-level initiative invites the most passionate, tech-driven, and impact-focused young minds to turn their ideas into tomorrow’s startups.
With BDT 1,50,000 in prizes and handsome pre-seed funding on the line, LaunchPad offers aspiring entrepreneurs the ultimate launch platform. From students and alumni to faculty and early innovators, this competition is open to all Bangladeshi citizens. Whether you’re from business, engineering, health sciences, or the arts—if you have a vision for Bangladesh 2.0, this is your moment.
At the heart of LaunchPad is a robust four-month incubation program, offering:
- Expert mentorship from industry veterans
- Hands-on prototype development support
- Access to investors and startup leaders
- A diverse cohort drawn from 40+ universities across the country
The Launch Event will take place at IRIIC, United International University on April 23 at 2:45 PM. Expect a high-energy afternoon of networking, idea pitching, and direct interactions with judges, innovators, and peers.
Eligibility at a Glance:
- Teams of 3–5 members, with at least one female member
- Students from 2nd year onwards, faculty, and alumni encouraged
- Cross-university and cross-disciplinary teams are welcome
- A faculty advisor is recommended but not mandatory
