AIMScribe

Automated and Intelligent Medical Scribing System for Doctor-Patient Conversation

AIMScribe is an Automated and Intelligent Medical Scriber designed to bridge the gap between expanding EHR usage and reducing cognitive demands on physicians. Utilizing Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, AIMScribe converts speech to text and extracts clinical information in real-time. Despite the efforts of companies like Google and Amazon, such technology is unavailable in Bangladesh due to a lack of Bengali datasets and clinical information extraction modules. AIMScribe aims to generate automatic Bangla prescriptions from doctor-patient conversations and create a large-scale Bengali dataset for ASR and information extraction in the clinical domain. This project seeks to enhance EHR practices in Bangladesh, allowing doctors more patient interaction time, and aligns with sustainable development goals and the fourth industrial revolution.
