We expect that Teledentistry  will increase accessibility to oral health care for everyone, eliminate the inequality in oral health services among the urban, rural and underprivileged population, lower the treatment costs as well as travelling cost in some cases. Life threatening oral diseases such as oral cancer can be diagnosed in early stage and will save the millions of lives as well as cost. After proper utilization of this digital platform will help to create awareness. It will be used as a powerful tool for professional training, for increasing the effectiveness of PHC, and for improving the oral healthcare with strengthening referral system. It will reduce the burden of unwanted visit of the patients to health care facilities by providing consultations and dental care keeping the patients and their families’ safe during the COVID-19 pandemic and limiting the risk of Corona virus transmission.
