Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka, Visits IRIIC and AIMS Lab at UIU
The Institute of Research, Innovation, Incubation and Commercialization (IRIIC) and Advanced Intelligent Multidisciplinary Systems Lab (AIMS Lab) at United International University (UIU) had the honor of welcoming Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka.
During his visit, Prof. Khan explored a wide range of ongoing research and innovation projects led by IRIIC and AIMS Lab. From digital health technologies and AI-powered platforms to student-driven entrepreneurship initiatives, the Vice-Chancellor was deeply impressed by the scale, ambition, and societal relevance of the work being carried out.
His appreciation underscored UIU’s growing role in Bangladesh’s innovation landscape and the importance of academic institutions working collaboratively to nurture research excellence and transformative solutions. The visit further strengthens the ties between two of the country’s leading universities in their shared mission to drive sustainable development through innovation.
