The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) is hosting the second national youth conventionunder the banner “Juboder Songskar Vabona” (The Future Vision of the Youth), with a thematic focus on Health and Technology. Scheduled for Wednesday, 21 May 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, the event will gather distinguished leaders, experts, and youth representatives for a vibrant dialogue on innovation, policy, and public engagement.
Among the key participants is Professor Dr. Khondaker Abdullah Al Mamun, Founder and Director of the Advanced Intelligent Multidisciplinary Systems (AIMS) Lab and the Institute of Research, Innovation, Incubation, and Commercialization (IRIIC) at United International University (UIU). A pioneer in digital health and AI-based technologies, Prof. Mamun is expected to share insights on how emerging technologies can bridge healthcare gaps and empower Bangladesh’s youth to drive systemic change.
The event features a wide range of eminent speakers, including Sharmeen S. Murshid, founding chair of Brotee, Barrister Rumeen Farhana, and Dr. Fahmida Khatun, Executive Director of CPD. It will also include participation from representatives of major political parties, public health professionals, and young innovators.
The youth convention will be streamed live via CPD’s Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn channels, allowing nationwide engagement and broader youth participation in shaping the future of health and technology in Bangladesh.
